Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

This policy explains how Eloquent Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 15 621 578 907), trading as It's The People, collects, uses, stores and shares personal information through this website and our related services. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect the information you give us when you book a chat, contact us, complete the EVP Strength Map, register for a webinar or event, subscribe to our emails or download a resource. This is usually your name, work email address, organisation, role and phone number, along with anything you choose to tell us in a message.

If you complete the Strength Map, we also collect your responses and the results generated from them.

When you visit our website, we collect technical information such as the pages you view, the device and browser you use, your approximate location and how you arrived at the site. Cookies and similar tags collect this automatically.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to your enquiries, run the Strength Map and send you your results, host webinars and events, and keep in touch about our services. We also use it to understand how people use our site, improve what we offer, and promote our services through advertising.

We only send marketing emails to people who have asked to hear from us, or whose role is relevant to our work. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests within five working days.

Cookies and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and for advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We also use advertising tags from LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, which let us measure the results of our advertising and show our ads to people who have visited our site or engaged with our content.

These tags are operated by those companies, and they may collect information about your visit and combine it with information they already hold. You can limit this in several ways:

Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with the service providers that help us run our business, and they may only use it to provide their services to us. These are:

  • Webflow, which hosts our website and processes website form submissions.
  • Google, which provides our email, calendar and scheduling tools, and website analytics and advertising services.
  • Attio, our customer relationship management system.
  • Eventbrite, which handles registrations and ticketing for our events and webinars.
  • LinkedIn and Meta, which provide advertising services.

We don't sell personal information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Overseas disclosure

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, most commonly in the United States and, for some providers, in the United Kingdom and Europe. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle information securely and in line with Australian privacy requirements.

Security and how long we keep information

We store information in secure systems and limit access to the people who need it. We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it. No online system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by sending a message through our contact page and choosing "Privacy request". We aim to reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and in limited cases the law allows us to decline a request, in which case we'll explain why.

Complaints

If you're concerned about how we've handled your personal information, contact us through the same form and we'll investigate and respond in writing. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
