An employer brand activation strategy that changes how people feel and act.

Attract higher quality talent.

Improve engagement and performance.

Retain your best people.

Launching your EVP with your own people first.

We help you launch the promise to your own employees before anyone outside hears it. That means a launch plan, internal communications, materials your leaders can actually use, and simple language for the conversations they are already having. We also make sure it reaches people who do not sit at a desk or read company email, which is usually the hardest part and the most important to get right.
  • Internal launch plan, communications and the materials that support them
  • Briefing packs, talking points and training for leaders and hiring managers
  • Materials that reach frontline and deskless teams, not only head office
  • Employee engagement initiatives and an ambassador approach, where you want one

Who it’s for
Organisations where the experience is created locally, by managers across many sites or teams.
Outcome
Leaders who can explain the promise in their own words, and employees who recognise it as true.

Making your hiring match what you promise.

We bring every part of your hiring into line with your EVP. That starts with your job ads, which are usually the first real thing a candidate reads about you, and runs through the application flow in your ATS to the emails people receive between applying and starting. Your talent acquisition team gets templates and training, so the improvement holds without coming back to us each time.
  • Job ad templates by role type, plus training for the team who write them
  • A review of your ATS application flow and the candidate emails inside it
  • Hiring manager toolkits, interview guides and proof points by role
  • Updated company profiles and banners for SEEK, Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor

Teams hiring at volume, where small improvements add up quickly.
Outcome
A hiring experience that reflects your promise at every point a candidate touches it.

Employee stories and careers pages that candidates believe.

We tell your story through the people who live it, because candidates believe employees more than they believe employers. We interview your people, write or film what they say, and get it approved by everyone involved before it goes anywhere. Most of this lands on your careers page first, since that is where every campaign sends people, and the rest runs through your social channels and job ads.
  • Careers page content and structure, written around the roles you need to fill
  • Employee stories and EVP content, written or filmed
  • Careers and employer brand video, from a hero film to short social cuts
  • Social post templates and photography direction, so everything looks like it belongs together

Getting your employer brand in front of the right people.

We put your employer brand in front of the people you want to hire, targeted by role, location and career stage. Most of them are not looking for a job right now, so they will never find your careers page on their own. Paid distribution keeps you visible in the months before someone decides to move, which is when the decision is really made.
  • Recruitment marketing campaigns targeted by role, location and career stage
  • Always-on social and careers content, running ahead of your vacancies rather than after them
  • Campaign assets sized for each platform
  • Reporting tied to hiring outcomes rather than engagement

FAQ

Questions HR leaders ask about employer branding strategy.

The things that come up most often once an EVP is defined and the question turns to what happens next. If yours is not here, bring it to the call.
What does employer brand activation actually mean?
Activation is everything that happens after the words are agreed. Internally it covers your launch, your communications, training for hiring managers and your talent acquisition team, and the engagement work that keeps the promise alive. Externally it covers careers videos, employee stories, your careers page, social content, job ads, your application flow and recruitment marketing. Your employer branding strategy tells you what is true about working for you. Activation is what makes people believe it, and it is where most of the value of an EVP is either realised or lost.
What does an activation engagement usually include?
It depends on what you already have and where the gaps are, which is why we don't publish a standard package. Some clients want the full range, from the internal launch through to careers content, video and recruitment marketing. Others need one piece done well, such as job ads that finally match the promise or a set of employee stories for the careers page. We look at what is already working before recommending anything, and we will tell you if a smaller piece of work would serve you better than a larger one.
Do you need to have built our EVP to activate it?
No. We work with plenty of organisations whose EVP was defined elsewhere, or defined internally, or defined some years ago. We will read what you have, look at how it has been used so far, and tell you honestly whether it is strong enough to build on or whether a refresh would serve you better first. If it holds up, there is no sense in paying anyone to write it again. If parts of it have drifted, updating them is usually a smaller job than starting over.
Who does what between your team and ours?
We are clear about this from the start, because it affects what you are budgeting for. We take on the employer brand work: careers content, job ads, candidate communications, employee stories, video and recruitment marketing. Your HR team owns the employee experience side, things like onboarding, recognition, learning and how leaders manage, because those sit inside your organisation and cannot be outsourced to anyone. We support that side with messaging, training and materials, and we will tell you where we think the biggest gaps are.
Where should we start if the budget is limited?
Almost always internally, and usually with your job ads. Internal comes first because employees who do not recognise the promise will contradict it, and they talk to candidates. Job ads come next because they are the cheapest thing on the list to improve and often the weakest, and every role you advertise carries one. Careers content and video are worth more but cost more, so they tend to follow. We will give you a view on the order rather than quoting everything at once.
Do you work with organisations across Australia?
Yes. We are based in Sydney and deliver employer brand activation Australia wide, including for organisations whose people are spread across several states and many sites. Our work spans Australian technology companies, government departments, healthcare and NDIS providers, national construction firms, retirement living operators and global consumer brands. Most of the planning and writing works well remotely. Employee stories and video are different, because the people and places need to be seen, so when the work calls for interviews or filming on site, we build that into the plan from the start.
How do we measure whether it is working?
Through the numbers your executive already watches, rather than through engagement rates. Time to fill on the roles that matter most, cost per hire, offer acceptance, quality of applications and early retention are the ones worth tracking, and we set the baseline before we start so the comparison means something. Some of it moves quickly, particularly application quality once job ads and careers content change. Retention moves more slowly, because it depends on the experience your organisation delivers rather than on anything we publish.
What happens once the launch is over?
That is worth asking early, because an employer brand needs new material to stay credible. Careers content ages, employee stories need adding to, campaigns need refreshing and review profiles need responses. Some clients take all of this in-house once the first wave is built, which is a good outcome, and it is what the handover is designed for. Others keep us involved on an ongoing basis, either running the recruitment marketing or producing content each month. We will be straight with you about which makes more sense given your team's capacity. You can read more on our recruitment marketing page.
