Bringing Revlon's EVP to life with employer brand videos and an annual activation plan.

Revlon is a global beauty and consumer brand with a strong presence in Australia and New Zealand.

The challenge.

Revlon already had a clear and well-defined EVP promise, so the work was about bringing it to life. The business wanted to attract talent for some key roles, and it also had a very rich culture that it wanted to capture and celebrate internally.

Employee engagement and retention mattered just as much as attraction. A promise that people only see on the careers page does little for the team who already work there, so the work needed to reach both audiences.

What we did.

We produced a suite of employer brand videos, not just a single hero film. As well as the main employer brand videos, we made videos for different areas of the organisation and for Revlon's culture club, so that people from different parts of the business could see their own team in the story.

We also developed an EVP activation plan. It is an annual calendar and rollout of initiatives that Revlon can run to embed its employer brand, both internally with current employees and externally with people who may want to join.

The outcome.

Revlon now has a video library that shows its people and its culture in their own words, and a year-long plan for keeping the employer brand visible rather than relying on a single launch. The plan treats internal celebration as part of the work, since a culture that people feel proud of supports retention as well as attraction.
