Job ads that carry the EVP for NSW Treasury's recruitment team.
NSW Treasury is a New South Wales Government agency. Like every public sector employer, it competes for skilled people who have other options, and it wanted its employer brand to be clear and consistent from the first time a candidate meets it.
The challenge.
NSW Treasury had an EVP, and it wanted that promise to help attract the best people. The job ad is usually the first thing a candidate reads, and it is often written quickly by a busy team under pressure to fill a role. Even a well-developed EVP can be missing from the ads, and a candidate will not see it if it is not there.
What we did.
We worked directly with NSW Treasury's talent acquisition team on how the EVP is expressed through their ad writing. Together we improved the quality of the job advertisements and made sure the EVP flows through them, so that each ad describes the role in a way that reflects what it is genuinely like to work at Treasury.
This was practical, hands-on work with the recruiters who write and publish the ads every day, rather than a separate brand exercise.
The outcome.
NSW Treasury's talent acquisition team is now supported to write ads that carry the EVP, so candidates meet the employer brand where they actually look for jobs.
