Recruitment video
Recruitment video production starring your own people.
We make careers videos starring your own people, because candidates believe your employees long before they believe your organisation, and the right film lifts every job ad, careers page and campaign it appears in.

Video shows candidates what working with you is really like.
Attract higher quality talent.
Strengthen job ads and careers pages.
Champion and celebrate your people.
Careers videos that bring your EVP to life.
We make the hero careers video that shows what your organisation actually promises people, told by the employees living it. This is the film that anchors your careers page, sits in your job ads and carries your recruitment campaigns, so it does more work than anything else you produce. Where a single film cannot cover everyone, we make focused versions for the audiences that matter most to your hiring.
- A hero careers video built around your EVP and the roles you need to fill
- Focused versions for specific audiences, such as engineering, sales or women in leadership
- Cutdowns and formats for social, job ads and your careers page
- A view on where each film should sit and how to get it seen

Who it’s for
Organisations whose careers page and job ads carry no real sense of what the work is like.
Outcome
One film that lifts the performance of everything it appears in.

Employee stories told by the people living them.
We film your people telling their own stories, one at a time, in their own words. These are the pieces that work hardest on social and in outreach, because a candidate watching someone doing the job they are considering gets an answer no corporate film can give them. The same stories work internally, where they recognise good people and remind everyone else what the promise looks like in practice.
- Individual employee story films, shot as interviews rather than scripts
- Vertical and square versions built for social feeds
- Captions and subtitles, since most people watch without sound
- Stills from the shoot for job ads, careers content and internal use

Who it’s for
Employers with genuinely good people whose stories nobody outside the organisation has heard.
Outcome
Proof from your own employees that candidates can watch and believe.
Culture and onboarding videos that welcome people in.
We produce the films that help people belong once they have joined, and show candidates what they are walking into before they do. That covers welcome to the team videos for new starters, culture and values films, walkthroughs of your offices and sites, and coverage of the events and milestones that matter to your people. Most of this content works internally and externally, which is usually where the value sits.
- Welcome to the team videos for new starters and pre-boarding
- Culture and values films that show behaviour rather than describe it
- Office, site and environment walkthroughs, including drone footage where it helps
- Coverage of internal events, openings and milestones

Who it’s for
Organisations where new people need to feel the culture quickly, across several sites or locations.
Outcome
Content that welcomes people in and shows candidates what to expect.

A steady stream of employee content, without the workload.
We come back every few months to capture more of your story, so your content stays current instead of ageing out. Each visit produces a fresh set of employee films your team can use internally and externally, and it keeps your employee advocacy program supplied with material your people are happy to share. Some clients add a podcast, highlighting high performers and the work behind their results.
- Regular shoot days on a schedule that suits your sites and seasons
- A steady stream of employee films for social, careers and internal channels
- Content your ambassadors and employee advocates can share themselves
- Employee podcast episodes, where that suits your organisation

Who it’s for
Employers hiring continually, who need new content rather than one film a year.
Outcome
A content library that keeps growing, without your team producing it.

FAQ
Recruitment video production questions, answered.
The things that come up most often when an organisation is deciding to put its people on camera. If your question is not here, bring it to the call and we will talk it through.
What does recruitment video production involve?
It starts with a conversation about what you are trying to achieve and who you need to attract, because that decides what is worth filming. From there we work out which stories carry your promise best, which people should tell them, and where each film will be used once it exists. Then we film, edit and deliver. The part most people underestimate is the thinking before the camera comes out. A film made without that becomes a nice piece of footage that nobody knows where to put.
Our people are not actors. How do you get them comfortable on camera?
This is the part we are genuinely good at, and it is what separates employer brand storytellers from videographers. We send your people something ahead of time so nobody arrives cold, then we spend real time with them before we start filming. We deliberately avoid scripting, because reading someone else's words is exactly what makes a person look wooden. It takes longer than a standard shoot, and that is the point. What you get back is people sounding like themselves, which is the only version a candidate will believe.
What do we actually receive?
That depends on what you are making, so we scope it with you rather than selling a fixed bundle. Typically it includes your main film plus shorter versions for social, job ads and your careers page, in the formats each platform needs. Vertical cuts, captions and subtitles are usually part of it, since most people watch without sound. Many clients also take stills from the shoot for job ads and internal use. If you need focused films for particular teams or audiences, we plan that into the same shoot.
How long does a shoot take?
Anywhere from a few hours to several weeks, depending on what you are capturing. A single-site project with a handful of interviews can be done in a morning. We have also filmed across every state, including remote mining sites, where the shoot runs across multiple trips. The scope drives it, and we will tell you honestly what your goals actually require rather than proposing the largest version. Most projects sit at one or two days on site.
Do you work with organisations across Australia?
Yes. We are based in Sydney and film nationally, including regional and remote locations. Our work covers national construction firms, healthcare and NDIS providers, government departments, Australian technology companies, professional services firms, retirement living operators and global consumer brands. Multi-site organisations are common for us, and we plan the schedule so one trip captures as much as possible rather than returning repeatedly at your cost. We film where your people actually work, because the setting is part of the story.
Do we need an EVP before we make a video?
It helps, because a film built on a clear promise knows what it is trying to say. That said, plenty of clients come to us without one and we work out the promise for the specific audience first, which is a lighter piece of work. What matters is that the film reflects something your employees would recognise as true, since a candidate who joins on the strength of a video and finds something different will leave again. If a fuller piece of work would serve you better, we will say so. Our EVP consulting page covers that.
What if someone leaves after we have filmed them?
It happens, and it matters less than people expect. Employee films tend to work because of what is said rather than who says it, and a story about the work holds up even once that person has moved on. We plan for it by filming several people rather than resting everything on one, so you always have alternatives. For content you expect to run for years, we will flag which pieces carry that risk before you commit to them.
How do we get the video seen once it is made?
This is the question worth asking early, because a film sitting on a careers page nobody visits does very little. Organic reach has fallen on every platform, so the people you most want to reach, the ones who are not looking yet, will not come across it by chance. We put employer brand films in front of specific job titles, employers and locations through paid campaigns, and retarget the people who watch with your job ads. Our recruitment marketing page covers how that works.
