A refreshed EVP and new recruitment videos for a fast-growing IT services company.
Atturra is an ASX-listed Australian technology company. It provides advisory, consulting and IT services to major organisations, including government departments, local councils, defence, utilities and the education sector.
The challenge.
We first worked with Atturra around four years ago, when it had recently listed on the ASX and wanted to attract new people to support its growth. At that point it had around 500 people.
Since then it has grown a great deal. Some of that growth came organically, and a lot of it came through acquisitions of specialist IT providers and new contracts. Atturra now has around 1,500 people, many of whom joined through acquired companies with their own specialisms and ways of working. The employer story we wrote four years ago described a much smaller organisation, so it was time to tell the story of the one that exists today.
What we did.
In the first engagement, we developed Atturra's EVP to help it attract new people and keep growing. We then produced a suite of recruitment marketing collateral to put that promise in front of candidates.
In the second engagement, we are refreshing the employer brand and producing a new suite of creative assets, with a focus on recruitment videos. The videos celebrate the work of Atturra's people and tell the story of an organisation that has grown through new specialisms and contracts.
Atturra will use the videos in three ways:
- On its careers page, so candidates can see and hear from the people they would work with
- Embedded in job ads, so the story is part of the first impression
- In recruitment marketing aimed at people working at other IT services organisations, to move Atturra into their consideration set
The aim is for Atturra to be the first choice for experienced IT and technical talent when they decide where to work next.
The outcome.
Atturra has grown significantly since we first worked together, and it has come back to us to bring its employer brand up to date. The refreshed brand and recruitment videos are now being rolled out, and we will update this case study as results come in.
